  Acrobat XI is no longer supported by Adobe and it's becoming less and less compatible with Windows 10 with each new update. I recommend you try running it in. I installed the free Adobe Acrobat Reader on the same machine (don't forget to uncheck the McAfee stuff before you download) I kept Acrobat Pro XI as my default. This has happened to me multiple times today. I was using Google Chrome and it happened. I downloaded Edge Chromium and it happened. I uninstalled Adobe Pro XI.
